Glessener Muhlenhof in Glessen

For me the number 1 excursion destination in the Cologne area, both for children and adults. The farm is cared for and run with love. I am more than happy to be there and recommend it to all ages.

I spent my childhood here and celebrated my birthday 4 times there. That was the best thing for me in the past. I thank the Mühlenhof team for this great experience

The farm is very nice for children. However, we missed feeding and petting the animals. Eating outside in the Hofcafe is not recommended. The pumpkin soup only tasted like curry, the fries didn't taste good either. Many old ones in between. Highly recommended for children without food, as it is very spacious with many playgrounds. However, it is clear to us that we love the Gertrudenhof

Nice large area with lots of great play opportunities for children. Kettcarbahn, hay barn, slides, climbing opportunities, water playground, corn maze, etc. Gastronomy, however, there is very little choice. A mill and a farmhouse parlor can be visited. Lots of animals, some of them running around freely, spent a nice day here, entry is free, but parking is free.

Only for small (st) children. In addition to some animals, such as donkeys, chickens and sheep, there is actually only a climbing playground and a few pedal carts. Queuing for food. 5 € entry (from 4 years full price!) Is definitely too much!

From 9am to 12pm the best time. The children have a lot of fun, but they are done after 3 hours.

It's actually very nice to see how much is now on offer and how the farm has been expanded over the years. Great offer. The whole eco number, however, does not fit the snack that had to give way to the earlier good gastronomy in the outdoor area: nasty fries and ice cream, huge piles of rubbish from Pomeranian bowls, coffee paper cups and packaging, overflowing rubbish bins. It really works better and, above all, it is neither contemporary nor does it fit into the farm and eco-friendly approach that is propagated to me in the farm shop, for example.

Great place for families. The children can play in the numerous playgrounds, see, feed and stroke animals ... there are also good options for a snack, the restaurant and the farm shop. In the farm shop you can buy regional products e.g. depending on the supply of Heidschnucken meat.

We, a family of four (children 5 and 9 years old) spent a pleasant morning at the Glessener Mühlenhof. With an entrance fee of 5 euros per person, of course, not super cheap, but everything was very clean and the animals looked well-kept. I am ready to pay this. We were offered a lot: straw mountains for climbing and jumping, various really great playgrounds or even driving fun with Kettcar and Co. There are plenty of seats for a little refreshment in between. At lunchtime we ate french fries, which were also really tasty. At 3.60 euros, it is also a bit more expensive than usual ... The staff was always very friendly and the number of visitors was manageable. However, we were there in the morning when we left at around 3 p.m., it was filled with "children's birthday parties". Recommended all round.

Very nice farm with a great barn, climbing playground, Kettcarr race track and gastronomy. We spent a whole day there and it was really lovely. Admission is € 5 for adults, which is fair. Toilets are clean. I would like to come back there again.

The Glessener Mühlenhof is a wonderful adventure farm. Much nicer designed than the fully commercialized and narrow Gertrudenhof in Hürth and also more idyllic than the Krewelshof in Lohmar. A beautiful piece of earth.

I am not surprised that the Glesserner Mühlenhof is popular and known far beyond the borders of Glessen. The absolutely top-tended courtyard complex with its own numerous sights is actually always worth a trip. Be it with small children who can play and romp here extensively, or for the adults. The restaurant is exemplary. The fresh dishes offered here all taste excellent. I like coming here regularly, because the staff are absolutely friendly and helpful. I can definitely recommend the Mühlenhof to everyone

Yesterday we had breakfast at the Mühlenhof with 9 people. Everything was perfectly prepared and the breakfast was appetizing and delicious. At this point I would like to thank Jessi who served us super nice and attentive.

Very well-kept courtyard, in which there is a lot to see and experience for young and old. Authentic; mainly because the farm is still managed. We can clearly recommend the restaurant and farm shop (especially our own range).

Been there for the 2nd time, always a fun experience with the grandchildren. The straw labyrinth, the vehicles, playgrounds, climbing equipment, the animals and a detailed walk across the grounds let us spend a nice afternoon there!

Amazing ambience

Beautiful farm for family trips with attached restaurant and farm shop with regional specialties and fruits, vegetables etc. In the yard one can look into the stables with the animals and in the yard chickens run around freely. Unfortunately, no one pays attention to whether these chickens are chased by children who try to hold on to the tail feathers.

Good place to buy locally made produce.

Was a really great day! Especially nice: it is not as run as the competition! The kids had fun and the value for money was great. In no case was the last visit.

The activities for kids is great From the animals, climbing frames to the corn maze later in the year. Great food as well!

A bit old but still good. A family with two children pays 15-20 EUR. You can celebrate birthdays here from 100 EUR. Or in the barn as a complete self-catering for around 30 EUR. The food is ok but the amount is manageable. Whoever orders fries for the children should be prepared for the fact that they are well salted, I like it. Unfortunately, the destination is not included in the Rheinland Card.
